AwAS Camera Location

This application was launched on April 1, 2022, in conjunction with the 76th JPJ Anniversary Celebration held at Dewan Muafakat Ayer Hitam, Johor.

The application was developed with the following objectives:

  • To educate road users to always comply with traffic laws and regulations;
  • To create a “Perception of Being Caught”among road users;
  • To make roads safer for everyone;
  • To provide a user-friendly platform for reporting traffic offenses.
  1. This application allows users to report traffic offenses for nine (9) major types of violations, as follows:

    1. Failure to obey red traffic lights;

    2. Overtaking on double lines;

    3. Using a mobile phone while driving;

    4. Driving on the emergency lane;

    5. Not wearing a seat belt / helmet;

    6. Overtaking on the left;

    7. Queue jumping (cutting in line);

    8. Tinted windows; and

    9. Fancy license plates.

  2. This application is available on MyJPJ and can be downloaded from the Play Store, Apple Store, and Huawei Store.
  3. Members of the public only need to follow these steps to submit a report:

    1. Download the MyJPJ application

    2. Register for a Public ID on the platform or via the JPJ Portal (www.jpj.gov.my)

    3. Log in

    4. Ensure GPS data is enabled

    5. Select the appropriate offense

    6. Upload a photo / video / relevant link of the offense

    7. Complete the required information

    8. Submit

    9. Certify yourself as a JPJ witness
