1. Governance
Ensuring the best governance is implemented alongside addressing integrity issues, especially those related to bribery, misconduct, and abuse of power.
2. Strengthening Integrity
Ensuring the cultivation, institutionalization and implementation of integrity within the department.
3. Detection And Verification
Conducting the detection and verification of reports on criminal misconduct, violations of organizational conduct and ethics, and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
4. Integrity complaint management
Receive and take action on all complaints/information regarding misconduct and violations of the code of conduct.
5. Inspection and compliance
Monitoring compliance with applicable laws and regulations and ensuring that there is no room or opportunity for staff to commit criminal, code of conduct and ethical offenses.
6. Disciplinary
Implementing the secretarial functions of the Disciplinary Board in accordance with the Public Officers (Conduct and Discipline) Regulations 1993, as well as other disciplinary management tasks.
