Applications can be made at any JPJ office and eKhidmat kiosks

Eligibility for LDL application:

1. Aged over 16 years for classes A, B2, B and C
2. Aged over 17 years for class A1, D and DA
3. Over 21 years old for classes E,F,G,H,I and vocational license except CON aged 18
4. Passed the Part 1 law test and the test results have been updated (still valid within one (1) year)
5. LDL can be issued and renewed for a period of 3 or 6 months up to a maximum period of 2 years from the date the license was issued

Required documents:

1. The original MyKad / Passport or a copy of the applicant’s MyKad / Passport if the transaction is done by a representative
2. Self-identification of the representative
3. 1 color photo (with black background) measuring 25mm x 32mm
4. Holding a valid passport (Foreigners)
5. Payment RM20.00 for 3 months, RM40.00 for 6 months for class B & C. (Class A/A1 B2 single RM2.00). Payment of RM30.00 for 3 months (RM60.00 for 6 months) for class D & above.

Requirement:

1. Can’t make a driver’s license class amendment more than 1 time.
2. Applicants must determine the license class before the LDL license is issued.
