Application for a disabled driver’s license for class A and A1 can only be made at the State/Branch JPJ.

OKU license conditions:

1. Have an OKU Card
2. The Medical Officer’s inspection report confirms that he is eligible to obtain a driver’s license and use a vehicle that has been modified according to physical ability
3. Need to get confirmation from the JPJ Automotive Engineering Division for the modification of OKU vehicles
4. For those who already have a Class A or A1 driver’s license and apply for an additional class, the applicant must register at JPJ

Required documents:

1. Original and copy identification
2. Original or copy of OKU card
3. Vehicle Registration Card that has been modified according to the suitability of the original applicant
4. Authorization letter from the vehicle owner (if relevant)
5. The Health Examination Form for Persons with Disabilities (OKU) can be downloaded from KKM

Conditions for obtaining a nominal fee (RM2.00):

1. Malaysian
2. Physical disability only
3. Have a single class A/A1 driving license or a combination of A and A1
4. Own a vehicle that has been modified according to physical ability that has been approved by the Automotive Engineering Division of JPJ
5. Submit a letter of permission from the owner of the vehicle if it is not the applicant’s vehicle
   If the data update to license class A or A1 is made, Class E and
6. Vocational licenses owned by the driving license holder will be automatically dropped except for GDL class C and conductors

4. Health Checkup Report
