DIRECTOR GENERAL
ROAD TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT MALAYSIA
YBHG. DATO' AEDY FADLY BIN RAMLI
DIRECTOR GENERAL OF THE ROAD TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT MALAYSIA (JPJ)
Peace be upon you, greetings of peace, and greetings of Malaysia MADANI.
To all my beloved staff and colleagues of the Road Transport Department (JPJ) Malaysia,
Alhamdulillah, I offer my highest gratitude to Allah SWT for His grace and permission, granting us the strength to continue fulfilling our mandates and responsibilities to the people and the nation with full commitment and dedication.
The year 2025 bore witness to various proud achievements recorded by JPJ, a result of the commitment, unity, and sacrifice of our workforce at every level. JPJ successfully recorded the highest revenue collection in the department’s history, totaling RM5.69 billion involving over 56.8 million transactions throughout the year. This achievement is not merely a figure; it is a symbol of the people’s trust in the efficiency of JPJ’s service delivery system.
Simultaneously, the department’s digitalization agenda continues to be strengthened through the MyJPJ application, which has become the primary medium for the public to access services more easily, quickly, and securely. The integration of MyDigital ID further proves JPJ’s commitment to fortifying digital identity security and enhancing the user experience in line with Digital Government aspirations.
JPJ enforcement is also being empowered through more strategic, technological, and integrity-driven approaches. The implementation of Body Worn Cameras (BWC), the upgrading of enforcement assets, and the Perception of Being Caught (POBC) approach reflect the department’s seriousness in ensuring laws are enforced firmly, transparently, and consistently for the safety of road users.
As we enter 2026, JPJ will continue to move forward progressively through various strategic initiatives with direct impacts on the people and the organization. These include the Helmet Exchange and Distribution Program, the MyLesen B2 Program, the empowerment of enforcement via modern assets, the implementation of post-licensing driving training centers, and the development of the JPJ Super App as the primary gateway for department services. All these initiatives prove that JPJ is not just an enforcement agency, but an institution that consistently prioritizes the well-being of the people.
At the same time, I wish to emphasize that the welfare of JPJ staff remains a top priority. Various efforts are underway, including upgrading office facilities, redeveloping departmental infrastructure, and establishing the JPJ Sports Council to ensure the well-being of our workforce is preserved.
Truly, the strength of an organization does not rely solely on policies and systems, but lies in the values of integrity, discipline, unity, and the spirit of togetherness among all its members. The theme “Satu Suara, Serata-Rata” (One Voice, Everywhere) must continue to be embraced as a shared principle to ensure every policy and mandate is executed in a synchronized, consistent, and high-impact manner for the public.
I believe that with a solid spirit of teamwork, high resolve, and loyalty to the trust we carry, JPJ will continue to advance as a progressive institution that is respected and trusted by the people.
In closing, I express my deepest appreciation and thanks to all JPJ staff for your sacrifices, commitment, and dedicated service to the department and the country.
Let us continue to move in unison, strengthening our integrity, perfecting our trust, and providing the best service for the well-being of the people and the progress of the nation.
“SATU SUARA, SERATA-RATA”
Thank you.
