Application for an International Driving Permit (IDP- International Driving Permit) can be made at any State/Branch JPJ office or at the Malaysian Automobile Association (AAM) office.

Eligibility for IDP application:

1. Have a Competent Driving License (CDL) that is still valid for more than 1 year
2. The owner is not blacklisted
3. The duration of IDP is 1 year only

Required documents:

1. Self-identification original / copy
2. Original Self-Identification if the transaction is made by a representative
3. Competent Driver’s License (CDL)
4. 1 passport size color photo
