Implementation Of 'ROAD OPS' During Christmas Day and 2017 New Year Celebrations - 2017 - JPJ Portal

In conjunction with the celebration of Christmas and 2017 New Year holidays, the Road Transport Department (RTD) Malaysia will implement the 'Road Ops' as the direction and vision of the Honorable Minister seeking enforcement activities are carried out in a holistic manner and not seasonally included in the long holiday season.

The aim of this operation is to:

a) reduce the number of accidents and deaths on the roads;

b) develop considerate and safe driving by road users;

c) enhance Perception Of Being Caught (POBC) among road users; and

d) to take stern action against drivers who do not comply with the rules and laws of the road during the operation.
